High Five for Friday!

[ONE] I spent most of Monday morning preparing to become every third grader’s worst nightmare.

As it turns out, I managed not to permanently scar them and everyone’s still alive– and they kind of know a little bit about fractions. Until the words “equivalent” and “partition” came up. Yikes.

[TWO] There’s a new four-letter-word in our house. We’ve reached a new stage in parenting– you know, the one where you spell warnings to other adults to avoid the meltdown that will surely result when your toddler is denied the chance to watch a B-A-B-Y on your dying iPhone for the 17th time today. Recently, he’s noticed that the wallpaper on my phone is a picture of him (and he refers to it as “Baby!”). I made the mistake of showing him more pictures and videos of “Baby!” and now he’s O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D. It was cute at first (and made my uterus hurt a little) to look back at mini-Landon, but now? You know what they say about too much of a good thing. It makes mommy C-R-A-Z-Y.

[THREE] Need to gain ten pounds?

[FOUR] Last Friday, two of my best friends and I had a girls night– an old school, paintyournails and stuffyourface girls night. BEST IDEA EVER! I don’t know why grown-ups don’t do this stuff more often. The most brilliant part of all? We cleaned out some old clothes from our closets and brought them to trade. As self-professed clothes hoarders, this was a huge success!

[FIVE] Today is the last day of February, which means warm weather is right around the corner! Right after winter storm Titan (and any storms U, V, W, X, Y, Z that should seriously reconsider making an appearance) :-/ Stay warm out there, friends!

Happy Friday 🙂
